Payment & Cancellation Policy
Chartering, Hiring Fishing Boats and Guides: a 25% deposit is required to secure charter game boats & trout guides. The balance is to be paid 14 days prior to your arrival.
Yachts: Either a 30% deposit is required to secure the booking with the balance due 30 days prior to boarding, or 25% deposit and balance 60 days prior dependent upon company concerned.
Accommodation: a 25% deposit is required. The balance is to be paid 14 days prior to your arrival. With some boutique accommodations a 50% deposit applies. Some lodges require a final payment 30 days prior to your arrival.
Our Methods of Payment
Telegraphic Bank Transfer or Direct Credit. We will send you our bank account details on request.
We accept Visa or Mastercard via our secure payment form.
If resident in New Zealand you can send a cheque or bank draft made payable to Pacific Promotions NZ.
Credit card details can also be given by phone.
All credit card documentation received by us is shredded at completion of service.
Our Cancellation Policy
Accommodation Refund: 14 days notice must be given. For some lodges 30 days notice may be required. A 10% cancellation fee applies.
Charter Game Boats, Trout Guides and Charter Yachts (Bare Boat Hire): deposits may be refundable under extreme circumstances. Cancellation fees may apply dependent upon circumstances and various company policies.
Cancellation-- Charter Game Boats / Yachts-- Weather and Mechanical: If the boat captain has to cancel a day(s) due to bad weather or mechanical problem an alternative booking or a full refund will be offered. Cancellation of a day(s) will be solely the captain's/company's decision.
In the unlikely event of unforeseen circumstances forcing cancellation, such as boat sale, damage, theft etc, an alternative charter or full refund will apply.
